How can you help free a child and
build lives?

Help Free the Children is committed to raising funds for educational projects in Bihar, India. You can help by becoming a sponsor, a campaigner or a volunteer.

Child sponsorship

You may choose to sponsor a child through monthly payments of $NZ26. This sponsorship will help to provide hostel accommodation, meals, clothing, education and medical care for an abandoned orphan.

The sponsorship process cannot be completed online however if you email us on info@freethechildren.org.nz or call us on freephone 0508 4 CHILD (0508 424 453) and give us your address we will send you a sponsorship pack.

Donations

You may, if you wish, make a one-off donation. (A single donation of only $NZ65 covers all education expenses for one child for one year.) Like sponsorship, this process cannot be completed online however if you email us on info@freethechildren.org.nz or call us on freephone 0508 4 CHILD (0508 424 453) and give us your address we will send you an information leaflet with a FreePost return envelope.

Wills/Bequests

You can choose to write a gift into your will, to go towards one of our projects. Just email us on info@freethechildren.org.nz or call us on freephone 0508 4 CHILD (0508 424 453), and we will give you the details needed to complete this process.

Corporate sponsorship

Are you in business? You can choose to sponsor one or more children through Help Free the Children. Just email us on info@freethechildren.org.nz or call us on freephone 0508 4 CHILD (0508 424 453), and we will give you the details needed to complete this process.

Where your money goes

Help Free the Children funds Niranjana Public Welfare Trust School and Orphanage, a non-profit charity providing 200 poor children and 60 orphans with access to quality education and a safe home. Because of our support the orphans here receive a quality education along with free hostel accommodation, clothing, bedding, three nutritious meals a day and health care. These are the building blocks towards a positive future and the gift of hope, and your donations will help fund teachers’ salaries, school uniforms, textbooks, pens, notebooks. We promise that all donations collected by the Help Free the Children Trust go directly to these projects and overheads are kept to a minimum.
